WHAT TO PACK:
· Passport
· Spending money (and money belt, pouch or some form of security holder,
no “Fanny pack”).
· For ladies one skirt or dress for Sunday church and a visit to one
school
· Jacket, sweater, and/or sweatshirt
· Comfortable shoes
· Toilet paper (if you wish)
· Towel and wash cloth
· Hand
sanitizer to carry with you
· A small flashlight, especially to keep near bed
· Imodium AD (A Must!)
· Camera,
film and batteries!
· Snacks, if you want
· If you plan on taking a hair dryer or an iron you will need a converter
and a special adapter for Peru. They have 220!
· Toiletries, i.e. soap, shampoo, lotion
· Clothes!
Prepare for cool evenings and mornings and comfortable days. Also, any of the clothes you bring
that you wish to leave behind can be left easily, even suitcases you no longer need. All will be used.
No need for really dressy clothes.
· Bring your Bible!
· Bring a notebook or journal!
· Bring a pen.
· Can
bring small gifts you’d like to leave behind, especial for hosts (candy, hand lotion, candles, etc)
Bags:
You are limited to two (2) checked in bags. Each can be 50 pounds.
The first bag is for your personal things and the second will be used to carry other items down to Peru for the mission.
